Tuesday nights for 8 weeks Commencing Tuesday 28 February 2017 6.00pm–9.00pm Cost $880.00 including GST This eight week course is for anyone who wants to design their own typeface. We will show you the primary techniques and tools required to make a font that you can type on your own keyboard. The course will start with drawing letters, learning about the principles of proportion and legibility along the way. Last weekend I gave a free lettering workshop in Sydney. Attended by 22 eager young designers, the class explored the process of designing and refining a piece of hand lettering from start to finish.   Free? Did I miss out? The class was hosted by Shillington College in Sydney, and was free for all current and former Shillington students. Shillington have hosted many of my workshops in the past, across their studio-like campuses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
