Introduction to Brushpen Lettering

This 3 hour workshop is aimed at beginners to brushpen lettering, or those who just want to gain more skills. Tutor Wayne Thompson will introduce you to some basic techniques, and we’ll have some fun with different styles by adding decoration and flourishes. You’ll get the opportunity to construct a handlettered piece of your own, and take home your own brushpen for further practice. This class is aimed at beginners or anyone with a casual interest in handlettering, and is suitable for those who would like to do lettering for invitations, gift cards, weddings and events.
